About Tracey:

Tracey Nelsen loves exploring the intersection of natural elements and traditional craft processes through industrial arts. when using your hands to create, you don’t just make art—you awaken the brain’s ability to adapt, strengthen memory, sharpen focus, and nurture emotional resilience.

Trained across multiple disciplines—including metalsmithing, bookmaking, ceramics, and welding—she has exhibited work in minnesota, new york city, and the bay area. a graduate of the university of minnesota with a b.a. in fine arts, tracey has contributed to large-scale projects such as pulse with the flaming lotus girls at burning man.
